TONY MATTERHORN - LIVE JUGGLING FLORIDA 97

I'm gonna start sharing some of the reggae/dancehall mixes I got in my collection. I had to share this one since it is Tony Matterhorn and since it was during a great year of classic riddims. If ya'll don't know Matterhorn here some info on him. He is definitely an artist I play on my sunday dancehall night club to get them girls on the floor. Play his joints "Hot Fuck", "Goodas", and of course "Dutty Wine" to get them females on the dance floor.

Tony Matterhorn is a popular Jamaican dancehall deejay and selector. Tony Matterhorn's birth day is on March 9th. Tony Matterhorn is from Kingston Jamaica. Matterhorn started as a back-up deejay in New York City, with King Addies sound system in the early 90s. He further established himself as an accomplished deejay with his lyrical and humorous abilities, especially at sound clashes worldwide. He toured Europe, Japan and the Caribbean extensively for stage shows and sound clashes.

Matterhorn's worldwide popularity came in 2006, when he made a somewhat controversial song called "Dutty Wine" (Smash Riddim). The song is also a dance performed by young women, and many "dutty wining" competitions take place in Jamaica. The success of "Dutty Wine" also allowed Matterhorn's next single "Goodas Fi Dem" (Gully Slime Riddim) to get significant airplay in Jamaica, and parts North America & the UK.

Here's some Youtube clips of him.

DUTTY WINE.
